Welcome to Eclectic History.  

The research spotlight is currently on politicians of the nineteenth century, more specifically those who served as Members of the Legislative Assembly during the Fourth Parliament of New South Wales - 1860 to 1864.

Other research interests will slowly be added to this site.  The Honourable John Lucas MLA is a concurrent research interest, as he is one of the politicians who participated in the Fourth Parliament - take a look from the menu on the left.

While research into the governesses of nineteenth century Australia has been temporarily put on hold, I would still welcome further information if any comes to light.
